The Kramer VSM-4X4X is a high-performance 4×4 seamless HDMI matrix switcher designed for advanced video distribution, video wall processing, and multiview applications. It supports instantaneous, frame-to-frame switching with no visual glitches, ensuring a smooth and professional viewing experience.
This versatile unit functions as a 4×4 matrix switcher, a 2×2 or 1×4 video wall controller, a quad-viewer, or a four-picture multiviewer. Supporting HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, the VSM-4X4X delivers resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) while maintaining high image quality across all outputs.
Advanced Video Processing & Display Modes
Powered by Kramer’s PixPerfect™ scaling technology, the VSM-4X4X provides precise pixel mapping and high-quality scaling. Users can select between truly seamless switching or fade-through-black mode, allowing independent output resolutions where required.
Multiple display configurations are supported, including matrix switching, video wall layouts, split view, side-by-side, picture-in-picture (PIP), picture-out-picture (POP), stacked, and quad display modes. Bezel correction and constant output sync further enhance professional video wall deployments.
Audio, Control & Installation
The unit supports embedded HDMI audio pass-through and provides analog stereo de-embedded audio on four balanced outputs, each with independent volume control. Advanced EDID management per input ensures reliable plug-and-play operation.
Control is available via front panel buttons, RS-232, and Ethernet with firmware upgrades performed over the network. Housed in a compact 19” 1U aluminum enclosure, the VSM-4X4X integrates easily into professional AV racks.
