The Kramer VS-84HN is a high-performance 8×4 HDMI matrix switcher designed for reliable routing and distribution of HDMI signals in professional AV environments. It reclocks and equalizes digital signals to ensure stable transmission and allows any of the eight HDMI inputs to be routed to any or all of the four HDMI outputs simultaneously.

Supporting HDMI deep color, x.v.Color™, and multi-channel audio formats, the VS-84HN is suitable for boardrooms, classrooms, digital signage, and control room installations where consistent signal integrity and flexible routing are required.

Signal Integrity & AV Performance

The VS-84HN supports data rates up to 6.75Gbps and resolutions up to UXGA and 1080p. Kramer Equalization & reKlocking™ technology rebuilds HDMI signals for improved long-distance transmission, while HDCP compliance ensures compatibility with protected content.

Advanced EDID capture allows the unit to copy and store EDID information from connected displays, ensuring plug-and-play operation and optimal compatibility between sources and sinks. Each output can be individually disconnected when required, offering added flexibility in system configuration.

Control & Installation

Control options include front-panel buttons, IR remote control, RS-232, and Ethernet connectivity. The unit supports preset memory locations for storing and recalling multiple switching configurations, enabling fast and repeatable system operation.
