The Kramer VS-44H2A is a high-performance 4×4 HDMI matrix switcher designed for professional AV environments requiring reliable distribution of 4K/60 UHD video with full 4:4:4 color sampling. Supporting data rates up to 18 Gbps, the VS-44H2A allows any of four HDMI HDCP-compliant sources to be routed to any or all four HDMI outputs simultaneously.

Built for modern HDR workflows, the VS-44H2A supports HDR10, xvYCC color, 3D video, and advanced audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, in accordance with HDMI 2.0 specifications. Integrated Audio De-embedding & Collaboration Features

The VS-44H2A features comprehensive audio de-embedding, extracting HDMI audio to both balanced analog stereo outputs and S/PDIF digital audio outputs. Each analog audio output includes independent volume control, allowing flexible integration with professional audio systems.

When paired with a Kramer Step-In enabled switcher, the VS-44H2A supports easy step-in collaboration, enabling users to quickly connect their device and activate it on the main display with a single button press.

Flexible Control, Presets & Installation

Individual EDID management per input ensures optimal compatibility with connected sources and displays. Selectable HDCP per input allows flexible handling of protected content. Up to four preset configurations can be stored and recalled directly from the front panel for quick access to common routing scenarios.

The VS-44H2A can be controlled locally via front panel buttons and LED indicators, or remotely through an embedded web interface, Protocol 3000 API, or RS-232 commands. Housed in a 19” 1U rack-mount aluminum enclosure with universal AC power support, the VS-44H2A is ideal for conference rooms, classrooms, and professional AV installations.
