Kramer MTX3-88-SE 8×8 Seamless Multi-viewer Matrix
The Kramer MTX3-88-SE is a high-performance seamless matrix scaler designed for professional multi-view video processing and presentation environments. It features eight HDMI inputs independently routable to eight HDMI outputs, delivering 4K/60 UHD video with full 4:4:4 color sampling. An additional HDBaseT input and two mirrored HDBaseT outputs enable high-quality local and remote presentation with seamless quad-view displays.
Built as a powerful multi-viewer platform, the MTX3-88-SE can simultaneously display dual quad-view presentations sourced from four inputs each, or quad dual-view presentations sourced from two inputs each. These views are concurrently mirrored on dual remote displays, making the unit ideal for control rooms, monitoring centers, and advanced presentation spaces.
Seamless Switching & Advanced Video Processing
Seamless switching technology ensures clean and instantaneous transitions between sources with no visual disruption, delivering a smooth and professional viewing experience. Built-in ProcAmp high-resolution scaling provides optimal up or down image scaling with automatic signal adjustment based on connected display capabilities.
HDBaseT Extension, USB & Audio Integration
The MTX3-88-SE includes professional HDBaseT extension, enabling long-distance signal transmission over twisted-pair copper infrastructure. It supports the extension of audio-visual signals, Ethernet, control, USB 2.0, and power over a single cable. USB 2.0 routing allows flexible host-to-device connectivity for peripherals such as cameras, keyboards, and mice across local and remote endpoints.
Digital audio is de-embedded from HDMI outputs and converted to analog audio, feeding four balanced stereo outputs for integration with professional audio systems. Support for multi-channel audio transmission enables up to 32 channels of uncompressed digital stereo audio for studio-grade sound distribution.
Secure Control, Management & Installation
Control is available via local front-panel buttons, remote IP-based browser access, or API-driven integration with control systems such as Kramer Control. Enterprise-grade security includes 802.1x authentication for secured IT network operation. Designed for easy installation, the MTX3-88-SE uses single-cable HDBaseT connectivity with PoE power distribution, requiring only one main power connection.
